According to the figures reported in ARIZONA'S ECONOMY, published by the University of Arizona, ELLER COLLEGE OF BUSINESS & PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION, Arizona's population now exceeds 6,600,000 people with the majority located in the two major urban areas. PHOENIX-MESA Metro Area (Valley of the Sun) has a population that exceeds 4,300,000 and TUCSON Metro Area (Old West Country)has a population that exceeds 1,000,000. Quick math then indicates that just over a million people live, work and raise their families the other more rural areas of Arizona. This site is dedicated to parts of the Major Metro Areas  and one of these rural areas, the White Mountains, which presents some the most breath taking and diversely beautiful parts of the Great State of Arizona .
